Great experience today - came in because my VW Beetle's turn signals weren't working. I was expected to be treated like...because I'm a woman, but they were honest, and friendly, and gave me a good deal, and fixed the wiring in less than an hour. Even their waiting room was nice, with comfy plush seats and vending machines. Everything was clean and they took good care of my car, even washing it afterwards.

My original selling dealer lost their franchise and so was unable to fully diagnose what was causing the problem (my speedometer/odometer didn't work). The people at Thayer Volkswagen found the cause and corrected the problem even though it wasn't the most common reason for the problem. I purchased a car from Ralph Thayer in May '11 and received excellent customer service from salesperson Mike McCool. I was so pleased to find a reputable dealership, this after having been given the run-around and receiving down-right rude customer service from other dealerships. For the excellent customer care here at Thayer, the following month I recommended a friend of mine that was also just as pleased with how well he was treated by Mr. McCool and the high quality stock of cars in their inventory. One of the best indicators of how much attention is paid to customer satisfaction and the quality cars in stock a dealership has is willingness to provide a CarFax report on each car on their lot. This is not only a free function on Ralph Thayer's website but also one in the showroom. High praise to Mike McCool, Xiang Leuamchampassak, and to the entire staff of Ralph Thayer Automotive.

wiper blades and battery issue. I was quoted 4 days on my repairs and parts availability became an issue. Instead of following my idea and taking the car home for use and driving a car without wipers, Gary recommended a loaner vehicle which would cost less than charge for putting the wiper back together and then tearing it back apart a few days later.
